We are very excited to announce that we have received distinction in Alberta’s Finest Drinks List Awards by Culinaire Magazine! We have received two Gold Awards, for both the Most Comprehensive Wine List and the Best Overall Wine List. These awards were determined by a panel of 5 judges with immense experience and knowledge.
“Our winners represent the best wine lists our province has to offer, and it’s impressive” says Linda Garson, the Co-Chair & Editor In Chief of Culinaire Magazine. “On these lists, there’s not only something for everyone and every pocket – you’d be completely spoiled for choice!” At The Lake House, our wine selections are very carefully considered so that we are able to offer our diners interesting and distinct wines to complement their locally-inspired meals. “Selections are considered on their merit to provide pleasure and for their ability to compliment the creations of our chef” says Brad Royale, the Director of our wine program.
We are happy to live in a province that has such a strong passion for exceptional dining, and we are so grateful to be a part of this aspect of Albertan culture. “We’ve long held the belief that Alberta has without a doubt the best selection of wine, beer, and spirits in the country” says Culinaire Magazine. “With the access we have to some of the finest liquids to ever grace a bottle (or can), we also have some of the best sommeliers, beverage directors, and restaurateurs in the country.”
