Using exclusively estate grown grapes from its South Okanagan vineyard, Blue Mountain focuses on varietal wines made from Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gamay Noir, and Pinot Noir. Blue Mountain strives to produce complex, age-worthy wines, consistent in style while allowing the expression of both the terroir and the individual growing season. Following the estate concept to its fullest extent sets Blue Mountain apart from most North American wineries. Indeed, in the burgeoning industry of the Okanagan Valley, Blue Mountain can make the rare claim of 42 years of continuous grape production by one family.
J. Webb began back in 1985 as an alternative to the Government run stores of the day. From the beginning J. Webb was different, offing wines available no where else in Canada. Today J. Webb continues to offer unique, hand selected wine, many exclusive to us. We prefer to discover our wines the old fashioned way, by travelling, tasting and meeting the people that make them. We have built hundreds of wonderful relationships over the years and we love to share the stories of our producers with you. Our focus is on providing Calgarians with small, family estates that grow their grapes using sustainable and organic methods. We work with amazing people – passionate, excited and dedicated to their craft. Our shelves are like no other wine shop in Canada – filled with unique and wonderful family estates, each with their own unique story to tell.
